We have "brought back to life" over 10,000 old toys and their boxes coming up on our 20th year of restoration!

Thank you for your interest in Randy’s Toy Shop. This catalog updates all other catalogs. We are going on our 17th year in operation. We are a full-service toy repair shop and pride ourselves on bringing toys back to their original luster and condition for collectors, museums and toy enthusiasts all around the world who can’t bear to see their toy looking in bad need of repair. We operate full-time Monday through Friday – 10:00 to 5:00 – Saturday and Sunday are "by appointment only".

Listed in this catalog you will find a partial list of some of the more common parts requested. They are listed in alphabetical order by the toy’s most commonly referred to name. Maker or country is listed afterwards. The prices we have listed are a general guide line for normal installation and color matching. Prices may vary with problems arising from crazing, extreme fading, rust matching or broken tabs.

If you do not see the part you need, we probably make it. Feel free too inquire via S.A.S.E., phone, fax or e-mail.  We are constantly adding new parts to our inventory. We also offer custom parts for rare toys and these prices are quoted upon seeing them. We do sell these parts loose for your installation – however, on parts such as arms and legs, we should have your toy to properly match the toy and colors.

The prices in this catalog are a guideline only and different circumstances may arise to vary the cost.  Please contact Randy's Toy Shop to inquire about pricing before you order.

A general guide line we use on these type of repairs is $45.00 to $65.00 per mechanism. Some mechanisms which require cloth removal, tab replacement or touch up after disassembly of the toy or complicated mechanisms can vary in price.

Complete mechanism can be fabricated at a cost starting at $125.00.

We offer parts, crack, dent and hole repair, touch up and repainting – however, we must see the toy for an accurate price quote.

We can reproduce your part in plastic for you. There is a set-up fee if we don’t already produce it. Call for details.

We also restore the boxes for your toys. We can replace missing areas, either by airbrush (preferred) or laser copy. Air brushing and hand painting with a crack-free appearance is much preferred but more costly. We repair holes, straighten and strength, neutralize acidity, clean, remove tape, ink and water stains. Some boxes may require a .003 insert of acid-free archival paper for support. We also offer a crack-free restoration for rare and expensive boxes. Prices will be quoted upon seeing them.

We ship strictly by UPS – we have an established account with them and we have had very good luck with their service and standing behind any damages that may occur. We suggest you follow the procedures listed below:

  1. Pack securely – tissue paper and bubble wrap secure any loose items.
  2. Double box expensive or items valued over $500.00.
  3. Ship via any carrier you feel comfortable with and insure accordingly. We use UPS unless instructed otherwise.
  4. Enclose a brief description of toys and repairs you wish performed
  5. Enclose your physical street address and phone number.
  6. State return shipping insurance you desire. If none is given, we will estimate one for you.

Upon receipt of your toy we will promptly send you out a sales order listing all repairs to be done with an exact price for repair, shipping cost and a self addressed return envelope for payment along with an estimated date that you can expect your toy to be returned.

We accept MasterCard, Visa, personal checks or money orders.

Make sure when ordering you add you phone number to our order form and we will call you back for a credit card number - or call 317-776-2220
